Police K9 Ikar, passed away on Saturday after having a medical emergency. He has served the citizens of Havre de Grace and surrounding communities for 8 years. He was a great companion and partner to Cpl Jeremy Lathroum and served his community well. Whether he was out on duty chasing down suspects to showing off his skills to the children at the school, his four paws never seemed to rest. As an officer and best friend, he will be missed by many.
